DATA PROTECTION

This website is operated by Stefan Weber GmbH.

The data protection declaration clarifies the type, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") within our online offer and the websites, functions and content associated with it as well as external online presences, such as e.g. B. our social media profiles (hereinafter jointly referred to as "online offer"). The concept of personal data is defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter “GDPR”). According to this, “personal data” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your real name, your address, your telephone number or your date of birth. Information about how you use this or other websites can also be personal data.

Processing of personal data when accessing the website

Our offers and services are only aimed at people who have reached the age of 18. We do not request any personal data from children and young people.

Please review the Privacy Policy each time you use our website to be up to date with any changes or updates. The data protection declaration must be adapted to the actual circumstances and the legal situation from time to time.

1. Calling up the website

When you visit our website, our web server records the domain name or IP address of your computer, the file name and the URL that was requested, as well as the http response code and, if applicable, the URL that refers to our website (Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR). This procedure is usual for technical reasons and necessary to enable the use of our website. We are supported by our technical service providers, who we use as processors. The above data is logged and used for the purpose of preventing illegal use or attempted attacks on our web server (Art. 6 Para. 1 (f) DS-GVO). However, we reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymized data sets.

Your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage can also take place if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other regulations to which the person responsible is subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the standards mentioned expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

2.Cookies

We use cookies for certain services. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. This allows us to recognize when you visit our website repeatedly from the same device.

In addition, web analysis and online marketing technologies are used on our website for analysis and optimization purposes. These usually use persistent cookies, which are also stored on your computer for future sessions.

We use cookies for the proper operation of the website, to provide basic functionalities and to tailor our websites to preferred areas of interest. This is also the legitimate interest in data processing within the meaning of Art. 6 Para.1 S.1 lit. f GDPR.

Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. You can use your browser settings to display which cookies are stored and for what period of time. However, you can deactivate the permanent storage of cookies or set your browser so that you are notified as soon as websites request your browser to store cookies. You can also delete cookies that have already been saved on your end device at any time. We would like to point out that if you completely deactivate cookies, not all functions of our website that you use will be available.

3.Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). By integrating Google Analytics, we are pursuing the purpose of analyzing user behavior on our website and being able to react to it. This enables us to continuously improve our offer.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The personal data is transmitted to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision. You can access the certificate here.

The data sent by us and linked to cookies, user IDs (e.g. user ID) or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.

IP anonymization

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

Browser plugin and objection to data collection

You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available under the following link and install: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

You can find more information on how Google Analytics handles user data in the Google data protection declaration: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Order data processing

We have concluded an order data processing contract with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google and visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the point "Objection to data collection".

4. Google Remarketing

We use the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing in connection with the cross-device functions of Google Ads and Google DoubleClick. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"), who supports us as a processor.

The personal data is transmitted to the USA under the EU-US Privacy Shield on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision. You can access the certificate here.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to us as the operator of the website. If you are logged in with a Google account while visiting our website, the data will also be used on other devices on which the same Google account is logged in to provide us with other services related to website use and internet use to the website operator provide.

In the case of data collection processes that are not merged in your Google account (e.g. you do not have a Google account or have objected to the merger), the collection of data is based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The possibility of evaluating the success of individual offers enables us, among other things, to react in a targeted manner to market behavior and place our offers in the best possible way for interested users. Google also has a legitimate interest in the collected (personal) data in order to be able to market personalized advertising and to improve its own services.

You can object to the use of your data for this at any time. We process the data until the end of the evaluation. The provision of the data by you is neither required by law nor by contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract.

The data collected is summarized in your Google account solely on the basis of your consent, which you give to Google (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and which you can revoke to Google.

Further information and the data protection regulations can be found in Google's data protection declaration at: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/.

You can permanently withdraw consent to cross-device remarketing/targeting by disabling personalized advertising in your Google account; follow this link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/.

5. Google Ads

We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on our website and, in this context, conversion tracking (evaluation of visits). Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. As a result, there is no way that cookies can be tracked through Ads customers' websites. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. This tells us the total number of users who clicked on one of our ads and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate technical settings in your browser software. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. You can also deactivate personalized advertising for you in the settings for advertising on Google. Instructions for this can be found at https://support.google.com/ads/answer/2662922?hl=de. In addition, you can deactivate the use of cookies by third parties by calling up the deactivation page of the network advertising initiative (Network Advertising Initiative) at http://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1 and implementing the further information on opting out given there .

Further information and Google's data protection declaration can be found at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/ and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Google DoubleClick

This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, to improve campaign performance reports, or to prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are displayed in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later uses the same browser to go to the advertiser's website and buy something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information.

Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and are therefore informing you according to our current level of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our advertisements. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and save your IP address.

The legal basis for the processing of your data is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Clause 1 Letter f GDPR. The possibility of evaluating the success of individual offers enables us, among other things, to react in a targeted manner to market behavior and place our offers in the best possible way for interested users. Google also has a legitimate interest in the collected (personal) data in order to improve its own services. Further information on DoubleClick by Google can be found at https://www.google.de/doubleclick, as well as on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) website at https://www.networkadvertising.org/. Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly; in particular, suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not receive any third-party ads; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser so that cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com" are blocked, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers who are part of the self-regulatory campaign "About Ads" via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted if you delete your cookies; d) by permanent deactivation in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this offer to their full extent.

7.Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager does not collect any personal data. It triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. However, he does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, the deactivation remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager. You can find Google's data protection notice for the Google Tag Manager here: https://www.google.de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.

8. Google Web Fonts

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use font libraries such as B. Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is a faster and more uniform display, regardless of the fonts stored on your device. Google web fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a standard font.

Calling up font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the asset or library. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of such libraries collect data. You can opt-out here: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.

Below you will find the privacy policy of Google Fonts: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

9. Facebook pixels

We use the visitor action pixel from Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, to measure conversion. As far as data is transmitted, this is done on the basis of the EU-US Privacy Shield.

When you visit our website, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the tracking pixel (Facebook pixel). Facebook receives information from your browser, among other things, that our site has been accessed by your device. If you are a Facebook user, Facebook can use this to assign your visit to our website to your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or how it is used by Facebook. We can only choose which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) our advertising should be displayed.

By calling up the pixel from your browser, Facebook can also recognize whether a Facebook advertisement was successful, e.g. led to an online purchase (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This allows us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes (our legitimate interest).

We use the “Custom Audiences” remarketing function from Facebook Inc. (1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA; “Facebook”) on our website. This function serves the purpose of addressing visitors to the website in a targeted manner with interest-based advertising on the social network Facebook. If you visit the social network Facebook, you will then be shown personalized, interest-based Facebook ads. The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DS-GVO from the legitimate interest in the above-mentioned purpose.

Please click here if you do not want data to be collected via Facebook pixels: www.facebook.com/settings.

Alternatively, you can deactivate the Facebook pixel on the Digital Advertising Alliance website under the following link: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/.

You can find more information about the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

We process the data until the end of the evaluation. The provision of the data by you is neither required by law nor by contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. Information on the collection and use of data by Facebook, your rights in this regard and options for protecting your privacy can be found in Facebook's data protection information at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

10.Microsoft Bing Ads

With Microsoft Bing Ads, we use conversion tracking from Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. Microsoft Bing Ads stores a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Microsoft Bing ad. Microsoft and we can recognize that a user has clicked on an ad, was redirected to our website and has reached a predetermined target page (Art. 6 (1) (f) DS-GVO). We only know the total number of users who clicked on the Microsoft Bing ad and were then redirected to the conversion page. No information on the identity of the user is communicated. This allows us to measure the success of our ad placement and plan our marketing costs (our legitimate interest).

We process the data until the end of the evaluation. The provision of the data by you is neither required by law nor by contract, nor is it necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You can prevent processing by opting out using the following link: account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings/signedout your objection.

Further information on data protection and the cookies used by Microsoft and Bing Ads can be found on the Microsoft website at https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.

11. Hotjar

This website uses Hotjar, an analysis software from Hotjar Ltd. (“Hotjar”) (http://www.hotjar.com, Level 2, St Julian's Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian's STJ 1000, Malta, Europe). With Hotjar it is possible to measure and evaluate user behavior (clicks, mouse movements, scrolling heights, etc.) on the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We have a legitimate interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer. The information generated by the "tracking code" and "cookie" about your visit is transmitted to the Hotjar servers in Ireland and stored there. The tracking code collects the following information:

  • IP address in anonymous form;

  • web pages viewed and patterns of movement on those pages;

  • number and position of clicks on links;

  • browser type and version;

  • Screen size of the end device used.

Personal data or movements on profile pages that contain personal data are not stored. In particular, according to Hotjar, IP addresses are only stored in an anonymous form. Further information on the subject of data protection and Hotjar can be found in Hotjar's data protection declaration: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy.

The cookies Hotjar uses have different “lifetimes”; some remain up to 365 days, some only remain valid during the current visit.

You can prevent Hotjar from collecting the data by clicking on the following link and following the instructions there: https://www.hotjar.com/opt-out.

12. Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions (Art. 6 (1)(f) DS-GVO). Our legitimate interest is to provide you with a means of communication and thus make our website and our offers more attractive overall. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

13. Social Media Plugins

We use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The social media plug-ins allow you to communicate with these networks and like or comment on content from our site. Social media plug-ins enable direct communication between your device and the servers of the social network providers. This enables them to communicate with you and collect information about your visit to our website. This processing is based on Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. We use it to pursue our legitimate interest in increasing your user experience and optimizing our services.

To prevent your visit to our site from being comprehensively recorded and evaluated by providers of social media/social sharing functions, we use a script that replaces the usual share buttons. Only when you click on the button will your data be transferred and provide the social networks with precise information about your surfing behavior (user tracking). We use either the 2-click solution or the "Shariff script" developed by Heise.de. Information about Shariff can be found at: https://www.heise.de/ct/artikel/Shariff-Social-Media-Buttons-mit-Datenschutz-2467514.html.

Please note that we have no influence on the scope of the personal data collected by the respective plug-in provider, nor do we know for what purpose they are processed or how long they are stored.

Further information on the processing of your personal data by the providers can be found in their corresponding data protection declaration. In addition, you will receive further information about your rights and settings regarding data protection.

Facebook

Our website uses the "Share" button on the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). With a click on the "Share" button you can share content from our website with your friends on Facebook.

When you visit a website on our website that contains such a button, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the "Share" button is sent directly to your browser by Facebook and integrated into the website by Facebook. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data that Facebook collects with the button. According to Facebook, it collects information when you visit third-party websites that use Facebook services (such as the “Share” button). This includes information about the websites you visit and about your use of Facebook services on such websites. If you are logged in to Facebook at the same time as you visit our website, Facebook will receive, among other things, your user ID, the website visited, the date and time and other browser-related information.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook can be found in Facebook's information on social plug-ins: https://de-de.facebook.com/help/443483272359009/

For more information on how Facebook handles personal data, see the privacy policy: https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Functions of the Instagram service are integrated on our website. These functions are offered by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can click the Instagram button to link the content of our pages to your Instagram profile. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our site with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or how it is used by Instagram. For more information, see Instagram's privacy policy: instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/.
